The North Division sees the reunion of Sea Devils and Thunder, which belonged to the North Division/Conference in 2021-2022. The Sea Devils are accomponied by their 2023-2024 Western Conference rival Fire. Finally, the expansion team Nordic Storm completes the division.
Distances
Only the East division follows a division setting which would minimise the distances overall. The East division therefore has the minimal distance between teams, 234 kilometers on average. West (253 km) and North (290 km) are comparable. South has the outlier Madrid, hence the average distance between teams is 592 kilometers.
The following graphic shows the distances per team, with Madrid not shown.
